INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION

OBJECTIVES OF ISTE:


1. providing quality training programmes to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity.
2. To assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organisations.
3. providing guidance and training to students to develop better learning skills and personality.

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students.

The events that are conducted by svecw club are:

    2. As a part of national science day celebrations on 28 Feburary 2020 we conducted.entertainment event.
    EVENT NAME: Folle Risposta.
    NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 10
    DESCRIPTION: in this event the participant need to take a chit in that chit there will be a number. Based on that number we have given a question for that question they need to speak in a prolonged way by extending the antiner We have given 1 minute for brainstorming After that they need to speak for 2 minutes on the given question

    2. On the eve of NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY. We conducted a daily event VIDEO MAKING on 18 - February - 2020.
    In this event participant need to make a video.
    The theme of the video is o represent their college in a best way.

  1. SWIFT AND SHIFT

    2. We conducted an event "Swift and Shift" (oral event) on 25 September, 2019.
    This is a part of ICE BREAKING grand event in the academic year of 2019-2020.
    Event: Swift and Shift (oral event).

    Description :
    We have conducted the event on the spot. In the event we selected two participants and made them a pair, we have given a sentence with an adverb and they have to form a story using that sentence and adverb. And they have to use that adverb in that story more than once. One participant will start the story and when the host says swap the other should continue from where their partner has stopped. This happens for every 20sec. we have given 45sec of brainstorming and 2 mins of time period. Criteria is based on communication, coordination, time management, spontainity.

    2. We conducted debate on 18th September, 2019.This event is conducted as a part of ICE BREAKING in the academic year of 2019-2020.

    Description:
    We have conducted the event by following the general rules of debate. Topics were given by us. Criteria is based on speaking skills, body language, teamwork and content.

      2. As a part of national science day daily events we have conducted an event on 19 February 2020.

      Description:
      In this event they have to give a presentation on any topic related to their respective branch. They can present it individually or with a batch of 2 members. Their PPT should have 12-15 slides (including Welcome and Thank you slide) and they have to present it for 5-7 minutes.

      2. We conducted an event on 23rd September,2019. This is one of the Daily event of ice.

      DESCRIPTION:
      The participants want to do the craft according to Given picture and for team three me present and one member want to explain and the other two members want to do the craft according to the actions given by the third person.

    1. MUSE BABBLE

      2. On the eve of NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY. We conducted a daily event MUSE BABBLE on 7-February-2020.
      EVENT DESCRIPTION:
      It is an oral event. In the event the participant will be given a question(riddle). They need to answer the question and justify their answer.They will be given 1 minute for brain storming and 2 min to speak on their answer.
      Total 49 members participated in the event.
      6 boys and 43 girls.

      2. We conducted an extempore event named CAZENDA on 25, September 2019. This is a part of "Ice breaking" grand event in the academic year 2019-2020.
      Event name: CAZENDA

      Description:
      In this event the participants will be given a topic and a grace period of 30 seconds for brainstorming and they should speak about the past present and future of the given topi in 1:30 seconds.

      2. We conducted written event named "INKBLOT on 25 September 2019 This is a part of ICE BREAKING GRAND EVENT on the academic year of 2015-2020

      DESCRIPTION:
      It is a written event. It consists of only one reman. In that you will be given a missing letter wont which is a combination of words. The order of those 4 words is-Name, place, animal, thing The first letter of each word will also be given. They have to fill the blanks in order to make a meaningful word (each for name place animal thing The marks are awarded as 1 mark for 1 correct and meaningful word. The winners are decideil according to the highest score.

      2. We conducted a spot event at National Science Day celebration on 28 February, 2020.
      Event name: Be a Hawkshaw
      No. of participants: 12
      Description:
      It is an oral event in which each participant were given a sentence with two options where the participant have to justify both the options given and at the end the participant need to conclude with any one option in the given two.Each participant will be given one minute for brain storming and two minutes to speak on the answer. The most relevant answer will be chosen as the best response among all the responses

      2. We conducted a event on 6 September 2019.This is the first oral event of this academic year of 2019-2020.
      Event name: Gift of gab

      Description:
      It is an oral event. Every participared to pick a chit each contains a situation.The participant need to narrate a story using the situation given in a chit that she picked. Time limit is one and half minine for brain storming and participant have to speak about 2 minutes.

    1. FARRAGO CHAIN

      2. On the eve of NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY. We conducted a spot event FARRAGO CHAIN ON 28-February-2020.
      DESCRIPTION:
      It is a written event. In the event there are two romans.1 Roman they need to identify the correct word from the jumble letters and one letter is missed and the position of the letter is given correctly 2 Romanis crossword puzzle. From the given questions they need to complete the crossword puzzle. Time limit is of 15 minutes.
      Total 129 members participated in the event.

      2. As a part of national science day celebrations on 28 February,2020 we conducted an entertainment event.

      DESCRIPTION:
      In this event the participant need to take a chit in that chit there will be a number Based that number we have given a question for that question they need to speak in a "prolonged way by estending the answer. We have given 1 minute for brainstorming. After that they need to speak for 2 minutes on the given question.

      2. We conducted a drawing event on 25 september,2019.
      Event name: Fit with Wit

      Description:
      It is a part of drawing event in which participants were given with a picture that may be cartoon or a scenery etc. Participants should drop a word or a caption or a message, what ever they get into their mind when they see that picture, the most relevant answer will be chosen as the best response among all the responses.

    1. DOODLE THE RAP

      2. We conducted drawing event on 12 September 2019. This is the 1st daily event of engineers day in the academic year of 2019-2020.
      Event name: Doodle the rap
      No of participants : 67
      Description:
      The word when we hear ENGINEERS DAY the first idea that strikes in your mind should be kept on the paper and it should be divided into two symmetrical halves. One half includes picture and the includes caption related to that picture and that caption written should be symmetric to your other half.

      2. On the eve of NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY we conducted "DIG AND DOCKET" on 11-February-2020.
      EVENT DESCRIPTION:
      It is a group activity in which participants are divided into teams. Each team consists of 4 members. First member will pic a chit from first bowl which consists of names of famous personalities based on that name the remaining members has to pic chits from other bowls which consists of his/her works, awards, biography.
      Total 109 members participated in this event.
      72 girls and 37 boys.
